Vital spaces, are the concept that the rescue teams of people during the earthquake used to determine spaces within the buildings where bodies could be found, with or without life.

This artwork is a interactive video installation on the basis of a projection downwards on stones and another frontal projection. This last one, emits the image that takes place through a created interactive system in Max, Msp Jitter, where the image of the spectators within a controlled zone is processed in real time.

Both projections involve sound, what in the interaction takes place translating the movement of the bodies of the spectators. The system showing in the computer and monitor, as a exhibiting the creation development, as well as emphasizing the importance of the spectator in the artwork, appealing to its idea of performer.

Vital spaces locate like central axis the human body, their disappearance and re-interpretation in a symbolic and conceptual line.
