THIS CHOREOGRAPHY IT BASED ON THE ANTHROPOLOGICAL STUDIES OF  GEORGES BATAILLE , BATAILLE SPEAK ABOUT THE EROTICISM IN RELATIONSHIP WITH THE CONCEPT OF “LOSS” . THIS SCENIC PIECE IS BASED ESPECIALLY IN HIS BOOK “TEARS OF EROS”  (1961). 
WE WAS FIND  CONNECTIONS WITH HIS THINK FOR WE CREAT THE  MOVEMENTS,  DANCE AND  ESTETIC. WE WAS  RELATED TO THE OUR SEXUALITIIES , THE VIRGINITY CONCEPT OF THE RELIGION  AND THE DEATH LIKE EROTIC STAT. 

 

THE SCENOGRAPHIC ELEMENTS ( THE WATER, DRESSES, LIGHTS AND OTHER) WERE  INCLUDED AS METAPHORA AND FOR THE CREATES DIFERENT SCENIC ATMOSPHERES. ALEJANDRO MIRANDA CREATED ATMOSPHERES  WITH SOUND SAMPLES, WOMEN'S PRAYERS IN PRE-RECORDED VOICES  AND HIS ELECTRONIC PIANO A LIVE .

It is a choreography with live video. The concepts put the public space and private space relationship ,  through the interpersonal relations and the behaviors of “the feminine” gender, mentioning certain cliches and “dramatic” situations as a denoting the representations exerted on the woman in our culture.

 

 

This work especially , is a site specific work for the “Arcis Theater”, that included a space type residential department - LofT style-  what the choreography propose as an appropriation and reference towards the same treated concepts of the dance.
